Over two decades ago, I discovered a passion for seeing people become themselves, and my career took an unexpected turn. Although my doctorate degree and training are in the realm of clinical psychology, I did not immediately become a licensed psychologist as planned. I was offered a job as a university professor and was greatly energized by teaching and working with students, so I focused my efforts on the academic rather than the clinical realm. I am still a Professor of Psychology at Vanguard University of Southern California, focusing primarily on Personality Theories, Positive Psychology, and Counseling Methods, and I am now also a licensed clinical psychologist as well as a spiritual director.

My current passion is to work with others on identity clarification. I believe people have a much greater sense of well-being if they are able to know themselves, accept themselves, and live in peace as the people they were designed to be.
